Mambo Chickpea Hummus

A creamy, blended chickpea dip seasoned with tahini, lime juice, and olive oil.

Instructions 

  • Drain and rinse Swiss Chickpeas thoroughly and set aside.
  • Add chickpeas, Swiss Mambo Sauce, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, tahini if using, paprika, salt, and black pepper to a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until mixture begins to smooth out.
  • Add water or reserved chickpea liquid a little at a time until hummus reaches desired creamy consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Add extra lime juice or Swiss Mambo Sauce for more flavour if desired.
  • Spoon hummus into a serving bowl and spread slightly with the back of a spoon.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with chopped parsley, chive, or extra paprika.
  • Chill slightly before serving for best flavour.
  • Serve with crackers, toasted pita, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks, or flatbread.
