Spicy, seasoned chicken pieces baked or grilled to a beautifully caramelized finish.
Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Pieces drumsticks, thighs, or wings
- 3 tbsp Swiss Mambo Sauce
- 1 tbsp Green Seasoning
- 1 tsp Jerk Seasoning
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Honey or Brown Sugar optional for extra glaze
- Fresh Chive or Parsley for garnish optional
Instructions
- Wash and pat chicken dry thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, combine Swiss Mambo Sauce, green seasoning, jerk seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, oil, salt, and honey or brown sugar if using.
- Add chicken pieces and coat evenly in the marinade.
- Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for deeper flavour.
- Preheat oven or grill to 375°F.
- Arrange chicken pieces on a greased baking tray or grill rack.
- Bake or grill for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
- Baste chicken occasionally with remaining marinade for extra flavour and colour.
- Cook until chicken is fully done and lightly caramelised on the outside.
- Garnish with fresh chive or parsley if desired.
- Serve hot with fries, rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
