Al dente penne pasta tossed in a cheesy, garlic-infused tomato and herb sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Swiss Penne Pasta
- ½ cup Swiss Pasta Sauce
- ¼ cup Swiss Mambo Sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves minced
- ½ Onion finely chopped
- ½ tsp Oregano
- ½ tsp Paprika
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- Fresh Parsley or Chive for garnish optional
- Chili Flakes optional
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add Swiss Penne Pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
- Drain pasta and set aside, reserving a small amount of pasta water if needed later.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add onions and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add Swiss Pasta Sauce and Swiss Mambo Sauce and stir well to combine.
- Season with oregano, paprika, salt, black pepper, and optional chili flakes.
- Simmer sauce for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked penne pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle in half the cheese and stir until melted through the pasta.
- Transfer pasta to serving dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or chive if desired.
- Serve hot with garlic bread, salad, or grilled vegetables.
