A creamy, blended chickpea dip seasoned with tahini, lime juice, and olive oil.
Ingredients
- 1 can Swiss Chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 3 tbsp Swiss Mambo Sauce
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Garlic Clove
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 2 tbsp Tahini (optional)
- 2 tbsp Water or reserved Chickpea Liquid
- ½ tsp Paprika
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped Parsley or Chive for garnish
- Extra Olive Oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Drain and rinse Swiss Chickpeas thoroughly and set aside.
- Add chickpeas, Swiss Mambo Sauce, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, tahini if using, paprika, salt, and black pepper to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until mixture begins to smooth out.
- Add water or reserved chickpea liquid a little at a time until hummus reaches desired creamy consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Add extra lime juice or Swiss Mambo Sauce for more flavour if desired.
- Spoon hummus into a serving bowl and spread slightly with the back of a spoon.
- Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with chopped parsley, chive, or extra paprika.
- Chill slightly before serving for best flavour.
- Serve with crackers, toasted pita, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks, or flatbread.
