Mambo Penne Pasta

Al dente penne pasta tossed in a cheesy, garlic-infused tomato and herb sauce.

Instructions 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add Swiss Penne Pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
  • Drain pasta and set aside, reserving a small amount of pasta water if needed later.
  • Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add onions and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add Swiss Pasta Sauce and Swiss Mambo Sauce and stir well to combine.
  • Season with oregano, paprika, salt, black pepper, and optional chili flakes.
  • Simmer sauce for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add cooked penne pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle in half the cheese and stir until melted through the pasta.
  • Transfer pasta to serving dish and top with remaining cheese.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or chive if desired.
  • Serve hot with garlic bread, salad, or grilled vegetables.
